Job Objective:

·         Inspects manufactured parts to assure Globe provides quality products and meets all the required specifications and requirements.

Essential Job Functions:

·         Ability to read and interpret blueprints including GD&T requirements, weld symbols and fastener callouts.

·         Read and understand manufacturing specifications, as well as customer quality clauses and special requirements.

·         Perform geometrical dimensioning. (FARO Arm and CAD experience a Plus)

·         Develop positive working relationships with customers (source inspectors).

·         Gaging techniques and trigonometry.

·         Perform dimensional inspections and sheet metal and machined parts inspection.

·         Familiar with AS 9100 and AS 9102 FAI requirements.

·         Create cert packages including COC’s and supporting documentation.

·         Provides daily shop support.

·         Experience working with Microsoft office products.

·         Performs other related work as required.

Work Environment:

Job Objective

Responsible for contractual review, acceptance of customer purchase orders and ensures all aspects of the contract are correct, including review of manufacturing planning prior to production.

Job Functions

·         Manage Customer Contracts to determine requirements, review Contracts for accuracy and completeness against RFQ, and resolve any issues with Customers.

·         Prepare and disseminate information to appropriate areas regarding contract status.

·         Ensure that Globe is compliant with applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, Customer specifications and Internal Procedures

·         Reviews Planning for accuracy and completeness to Customer requirements

·         Maintenance of approved supplier list and flow down list of Customer’s procurement and quality clauses

·         Possess the ability to identify and analyze potential risks associated with contracts and key processes.

·         Customer focused who works well in an individual and/or team environment

Job Requirements

·         Proficient with Microsoft products (Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Access).

·         Firm understanding Quality Management System requirements of AS9100

·         Familiar with Customer Supplier Quality Requirements

·         Familiar with Special Processes (Heat Treat, Weld, Penetrant, Chem. Clean, etc.)

·         Ability to perform Contract Review and Planning Review

·         Be involved in Risk Assessments and Migration activities

·         Understanding of aircraft specifications, engineering, and processes

·         Aviation contracts experience preferred

·         Good verbal and written communication skills that will allow for positive interface with a variety of departments.

·         Must be detail oriented and have strong organizational skills

·         Ability to prioritize and manage multi-tasks simultaneously

·         High School Diploma or equivalent.

Work Environment

·         Usual working days/hours: Monday thru Thursday 6:00am – 4:30pm; Friday 6:00am – 3:30pm.  Working hours are subject to change based company needs, may require working additional overtime on Saturdays.

·         Primarily in an office environment and will routinely use office equipment, computer, phones, photocopier and fax machines.  This position is sedentary but does require walking in a manufacturing environment.
