  Position:  IT Administrator

  Job Objective:

  Committed to being part of a positive working environment while providing quality work and completing projects in timely manner. Responsible for maintaining and supporting Window Server and internal customers. Configure. Install monitor and maintain IT user’s PC software and hardware.  Install and configure network and local printers 

  Essential Job Functions:

  • Assist with implementation and support of state-of-the-art software and hardware (e.g., Windows and Linux servers in a virtual environment, Windows clients, printers, scanners, and copiers).
  • Assist with implementation and support of secure operating systems.
  • Help maintain ERP system.

  Work Environment:

  • Usual working days/hours: Monday thru Thursday 6:00am – 4:30pm; Friday 6:00am – 3:30pm.  Working hours are subject to change based company needs, may require working additional overtime on Saturdays.
  • Manufacturing shop office environment.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.

 Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer technology, information management or related field required, with a minimum of 5 years IT related experience and 3 years Windows Server experience or 9 years of IT experience and 3 years of Windows Server experience.
  • Experience with SQL and AD.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) 

  Preferred Training

  • One or more major current certification such as: MCSA, MCSE, or comparable certification.
  • Broad experience in information technologies, such as testing methodologies, databases, and system design.
  • Knowledge of commonly accepted industry standards and best practices relating to security, including ISO 27002/27005, FIPS, NIST publications and other best practices.
  • Experience with ERP system conversions.
